Gladys H. Morales is Senior Officer, Change Delivery and Innovation in IFAD’s Change Delivery and Innovation Unit (CDI), Office of the President and Vice-President, where she leads the design and implementation of innovation initiatives and partnerships aiming to support testing, learning and scaling up of innovative solutions that impact poor rural people directly. She is also currently the Regional Ambassador in Italy of the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC). Prior to joining IFAD, Gladys led the digital transformation of a range of Multilateral Development Banks and United Nations agencies’ projects in Latin America, Asia and Europe; and worked for the International Poverty Reduction Centre in China (IPRCC) where she led the design of digital platforms and established partnerships and knowledge networks for the Global Poverty Reduction and Inclusive Growth (GPIG) Portal. She is also familiar with the startup eco-system having been part of the management team for a digital advertising startup in Indonesia and founding her own startup in Italy.

A graduate in Political Science from the University of Turin, with a Master's degree in European Studies from the College of Europe in Belgium, she has gained professional experience in the areas of international cooperation and sustainable development with several nonprofit organizations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Italy and abroad (Iraq and Burundi).

She has been with Save the Children since 2008, where she has been involved in advocacy and awareness-raising projects in the areas of education, nutrition, health, and poverty alleviation; developed relationships and partnerships with public institutions, foundations, and UN agencies; and coordinated networks of civil society organizations. In 2015 she introduced corporate social responsibility issues into the organization by linking them to the goals of the 2030 Agenda; since 2016 she has been leading the development of strategic partnerships with companies to support them in promoting human rights and defining development projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the local communities where the companies operate.

She has been associated with the CSR Manager Network since 2017, is part of the “private sector in international cooperation” working group of the National Council for Development Cooperation and is an active member of the “SDG 17” working group of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development.

Born in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1965, Fabio is a ski instructor and lover of the mountains and outdoor activities. He graduated with a degree in Economics and Business in Trieste in 1989, and completed his training in PROFINGEST. He obtained his Master's in Business Management in Bologna and has been working with Patagonia since 1999. He currently serves as Country Manager for Patagonia in Italy. Patagonia is undoubtedly the ideal company to combine business and personal passions, in an environment that is attentive to fundamental values such as environmental protection and social commitment.

Nato a Cortina d’Ampezzo nel 1965, si laurea in Economia e Commercio a Trieste nel 1989 e completa il percorso formativo frequentando e conseguendo il Master PROFINGEST in Gestione d’Impresa a Bologna.Maestro di sci e amante della montagna e delle attività outdoor in genere, dal 1999 collabora con Patagonia rivestendo attualmente il ruolo di Country Manager Italy. Passionate about people and the planet, Silvia is an executive and team coach, consultant, and trainer with over 25 years of international corporate experience. She holds an MBA in HRM from the City University Business School in London, where she was a Visiting Professor in Organizational Behaviour and Change for 15 years. As Past President of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Italy and a Master Certified Coach (MCC) since 2004, she has been a driving force for positive change. While serving as a Board Trustee of the ICF Foundation, she launched the Ignite initiative, coaching for social change related to the UN SDGs, which has impacted over 16 million people.

Silvia Tassarotti

Full Professor of Business at Roma Tre University. He teaches marketing innovation and sustainability in Italy and abroad. He is president of the EIIS – European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability, member of the scientific committee of WWF – Italy, and co-founder of “Dock3-the startup lab”.
Since 1986, he has been involved in communication and marketing consultancy for leading Italian companies and institutions. He is the author of many scientific papers. His most recent book is “How to create a sustainable food industry. A practical guide to perfect food” (with Barrett M., Marino M., and Brkic F.), Routledge 2024

Andrea Germicca, the Director General of the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability, has dedicated a considerable amount of time to working on innovation for sustainability. He investigates daily how to drive innovation to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Andrea attended the Harvard Business School Exec, where he studied how to drive innovation in large organizations. He also attended Singularity University at NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley, investigating the impacts of exponential technologies on our society. Recently, he became a Faculty Member at Singularity University as a global expert on innovation for sustainability and future scenarios. Andrea is also an adjunct professor at LUISS and LUMSA University and has enjoyed being a guest lecturer at Harvard - Kennedy School and Sciences Po. As an engaging speaker, he spoke at two TEDx events, sharing his insights and experiences with diverse audiences. In addition, Andrea has been writing for Harvard Business Review Italia since 2019 on new trends and future scenarios. Recently, he authored a book on the circular economy, further solidifying his expertise and passion for sustainable innovation.
