Tim Flannery

Founder - The Climate Council - Author

Tim Flannery is an Australian scientist and explorer. Author of scientific articles, he has also written several books, including The Future Eaters, a bestseller on the ecological history of Australia, and The Last Tribe, published in Italy by Corbaccio. He taught at Harvard, was director of the South Australian Museum for seven years and is currently a professor at Macquarie University, where he follows a research project on climate change. Chair of the State Science Council and the Sustainability Roundtable, an advisory body on sustainable development, Flannery is also the Australian representative of the National Geographic Society.
