Since 2016, she has coordinated several projects related to fisheries management and marine protected areas at WWF Italy. A marine biology graduate from the University of Pisa, she specialized at the University of Nice with a Marie Curie PhD on the study and monitoring of marine trophic networks within Marine Protected Areas, focusing in particular on the key role of apex predators.
