
Sheila Codamus-Platel
Head, Investment Management - IFAD
Sheila Codamus-Platel currently heads the Treasury unit responsible for managing the investments of IFAD, an international financial institution and a specialized United Nations agency based in Rome. Concurrently, she serves as a Board Member of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF). Prior to IFAD, Sheila held senior roles at the African Development Bank Group and at the Dutch development bank, FMO. Before embarking on the crossroads between international capital markets and development finance, she acquired extensive experience in corporate banking with the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Credit Agricole, among others. Throughout her career, Sheila has demonstrated expertise in areas such as responsible investing, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and leadership.
