Michael joined the Italian financial business community from the Silicon Valley after four years running Yahoo!’s Corporate Development and Strategy Group for the Americas. Prior to Yahoo!, Michael spent more than 10 years in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan Chase as a senior member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Media and Technology practice in the Silicon Valley, New York and London. Michael executed more than 60 transactions within the technology and media sectors totaling more than $75 billion.

While in Italy, Michael has focused on venture capital and principal investing, including an early-stage investment in Depop, which was sold to Etsy in 2021 for $1.6 billion.

Michael has an MBA in finance and strategy from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California where he attended on academic scholarship. Michael has also been a guest lecturer in finance and venture capital at New York University (NYU), SDA Bocconi and Università Cattolica.
