Marconi Madai is the Vice President of Health, Safety, Security and Environment, a position he was appointed to in September 2011. He leads a multi-disciplinary team to drive excellence in health, safety and environment in Sarawak Energy as well as ensure business continuity management in line with the Group’s business objectives. Marconi has extensive industry experience, having served in management positions in the chemical industry in Malaysia, where he developed standard operating procedures, oversaw compliance to standards, managed business risks and drove initiatives on human resources and CSR. Marconi graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City in the USA in 1997.
