Luigi Boitani

Professor of Zoology - University of Rome "La Sapienza"

Luigi Boitani is a professor at the Department of Animal and Human Biology at the University of Rome La Sapienza since December 2000.
He has received numerous prizes for his scientific research, including the World Wildlife Fund International Award in 1982, the Premio Glaxo for scientific popularization in 1982, the Premio Gambrinus for environmental writing in 1989, and the Wildlife Society Prize in 2004.
He is a writer for several magazines and has contributed to TV documentaries. From 1985 to 1989, he presented the TV series "Pan," and since 1998, he has been the scientific supervisor for the program "Geo&Geo."
Additionally, he has served as a scientific consultant for international exhibitions on wolves.
