
Mario De Caro

Mario De Caro is Professor of Moral Philosophy at Roma Tre University and a regular Visiting Professor at Tufts University. He has been a Fulbright Fellow at Harvard and twice a Visiting Scholar at MIT. He has served as the President of the Italian Association for Moral Philosophy (SIFM) and of the Italian Association for Analytic Philosophy (SIFA). He is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Philosophical Association, Hilary Putnam’s literary executor, and a member of the steering committee of the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP). He has delivered lectures in 20 countries and published over 200 scholarly articles in six languages and seven books in Italian. He also edited more than 20 collections in both Italian and English. His areas of expertise include the ethics of AI, philosophy of mind, moral philosophy, metaphysics, philosophy of film, and the history of science.
