Gino Roncaglia

Honorary Professor - University Villa María (Argentina)

Gino Roncaglia is Full Professor of Digital Humanities and Philosophy of Information at Roma Tre University (Italy), and Honorary Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Villa María (Argentina). He is the author of more than ten books and over 150 papers in the fields of digital culture, philosophy of information, and digital publishing. He is also a recognized expert in the history of logic from the Middle Ages to Leibniz.
His most recent book, L’architetto e l’oracolo, explores the relationship between traditional systems of knowledge organization and generative AI. It was published by Laterza in 2023 (5th edition, 2024).
He serves as a scientific consultant for the Italian public broadcaster RAI and has authored and/or hosted numerous cultural television programs on new media. Before beginning his academic career, he worked at the Italian Chamber of Deputies, where he oversaw the first projects to digitize its historical archives.
