Joanne is currently Global VP, DE&I at Sodexo and is based at the Global HQ in Paris, France. In her career over the past 25 years, Joanne has held various leadership roles in HR, Operations and client relations and has lived and worked in Canada, Lebanon, Chile, UAE, & France and has travelled extensively in those regions in her various roles.
Joanne started travelling and living abroad at a young age and developed a deep curiosity and interest in learning about the people, places, and cultures of the places she travelled to. It is through her work and travels that Joanne really developed her passion for DE&I, working with local communities and finding ways to impact the community members positively and sustainably. Joanne is passionate in her belief that everyone, regardless of their position or role, deserves an inclusive, accessible environment and a sense of belonging.
